At Brogborough, a former landfill site is being transformed into part of the UK’s next generation of clean-energy infrastructure.
HTR Solar is supplying the ground-mount solar mounting system for the 40 MWp Brogborough Solar Farm, supporting the delivery of a large-scale renewable energy project across the restored landfill site.
The project forms part of the wider Brogborough Clean Energy Hub, where new solar generation is being developed alongside existing energy infrastructure. For HTR Solar, the scale of the project is significant, but equally important are the ground conditions and the engineering considerations associated with developing solar on previously used land.
Our mounting system is engineered around the requirements of the site, considering structural loading, foundation conditions, connection detailing, constructability and the need for efficient, repeatable installation across a large utility-scale development.
Brogborough represents more than a large-scale solar project. It is the transformation of previously used land into a productive renewable energy site, combining established energy infrastructure with new solar generation.
