HTR Solar has invested £600,000 in advanced roll-forming technology in 2026, strengthening our UK manufacturing capability and giving us greater flexibility to support the evolving needs of ground-mounted solar projects.
For us, this investment is about more than increasing production capability. It is about giving our engineering and manufacturing teams greater freedom to develop solar mounting components around the project — rather than designing the project around fixed manufacturing limitations.
Built Around the Project
Every solar site is different. Ground conditions, module dimensions, table geometry, structural loads and installation requirements can all influence the final mounting system.
Our new roll-forming technology allows us to manufacture project-specific, structurally optimised profiles, accommodating different section sizes, material thicknesses and punching requirements.
This flexibility helps our engineers develop efficient mounting solutions around the structural requirements of each project while giving our manufacturing team the capability to turn those designs into production.

Bringing structural engineering and manufacturing together under one roof allows us to consider structural performance, material efficiency, buildability and production requirements from the beginning of the design process.
